subd history delete

after i delete a subd history on the model. this problem comes up where the this old cage is still there. any body know how to get rid of it.user added image

i hope you removed the history in standard (not poly proxy) mode. otherwise the poly cage can stay.

okay i did it in poly proxy mode. so it has to be i standard thank you baby duck. ahh guess that means ill start up from scratch.

I did that once before. Just duplicate the model and delete the old one. I have a feeling that something so simple has major drawbacks... but.. worked for me. =|

You don't have to duplicate the model. All you have to do is open the outliner and right click. Go to Show Shapes . Click the plus( + )next to your object name. Slect the ShapeHistPoly, then delete.
