Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

exporting models into after effects for compositing

Is there a way to export your models in maya for after effects so the models can be in 3d space in after effects. Also instead of making a green environment for green screening is there a setting for exporting model with transparent background.

I dont think that you can export the model into After effects, you need to render the images out than import them, also for hte transparant background , make sure you include an alpha channel. when you then import the image sequence ingto AE it gives you various options on what do do with the alpha.
