How do I make a polygon two sided?

Hi,

I'm doing a tutorial just now which involves using a simple plane and applying a texture. At the moment, the texture can only be viewed from one side though; it's invisible from the other side.

How do I make the plane, and texture, two sided so it can be seen from either side?

thanks,

gubar.

Hi,

thanks for replying.

I've just checked that out, and it was actually on already. Still though, I can only see the texture from one side. Any ideas why this might be?

EDIT: Just noticed that in scene view, it is only visible from one side, but when its rendered, it is two sided.

Is this normal?

thanks,

gubar.
