fur reflection

hey guys,

I'm trying to get my fur to reflect on to my ground, my poly geometry on my character reflects on the ground, but the fur on the geometry does not at all.

I've turned on refractions and reflections in the fur render stats attributes

Thanks for any help!

I cant remember off the top of my head but if your using mental ray I dont think you can render fur reflections.

If you have a look in the help files I think it says it in mental rays limitations, i'm also not sure if its changed in newer versions as last time I looked I think I was using versioon 6.

I think software supports it, try rendering just a fur refelction pass in sotware and then compositing it onto the image.
