Default more dynamics effects

I really like those quick and easy effects under dynamics>effects where you just click and little modification is needed. there's that cool fire, lightning, fireworks...etc. I was wondering if there was a plugin or addin that would make the list longer including different kind of cool particle effects.

thanks

Nope fraid not, although f you head to highend3d theres lots of dynamic based scripts, theres some nice effects over there if you find the right script. To get the really cool looking stuff going your gonna have to learn how to do the stuff yourself though, as the effects that come off the shelf with maya are pretty poor in comparison to some of the stuff you can make yourself.

Have a look in the visor if you think that the fire effects look good in the fluids section.
