Question Bleach, Naruto, Anime in general



I am at the mercy of any one who will answer this plea. I am in need of modeling assistance with my favorite manga. I have recently played bleach heat the soul and like the models but am having a hard time starting them. if any one can give me some insight on this it will help me ever so greatly. Anyone with any information please contact,.....help me Simply Maya Forum surfers your my only hope !!!!! Thanks in advance.

i want to model to body and head in this style uv maps are ok but modling organic is kinda hard

whoa, so u too fan of Bleach n Naruto.... :attn: me just watched bleach till episode 156. was awesome. 'd someday like to do some animation like tht too. also i got a friend named Bipin who is a anime freak and can sketch any manga character and tell you name of almost 90% of the animations/cartoons. just wanted to tell u that he had modeled and textured Naruto and i too tried to model Rourouni Kenshin (Himura) but only finished the body and basic head. may be texturing it will help it finished but am gettin lazy.... i'll post the pic of Naruto after i get his consent and also will post my kenshin himura then,

There's this thing used to render cartoons you might want to know about called Vector Render.
Search 'Cartoon' in Maya help...

mental ray's also got a toon shader (or contour shader) that you can play around with to get the right look you're going after.
