Hey,

Just a quick question. I am due to upgrade my graphics card, being a newbie to maya, I am not sure what graphics card would be compatible .

Here are the one's I was thinking, again any help would be grateful.

512MB FIREGL V5600

512MB QUADRO FX1700 PCI

512MB QUADRO FX570 PCI

from personal experience i prefer the quadro series over the firegl
found that the quadro was more stable and the driveers were better.

i havent looked at those cards so im not sure on what they are capable of

r u using this only for maya?
i run a quadro and still play games but quadros and firegl are opengl based whereas the gaming counter parts are directx based
but they still do both but are better at one
