Default Image planes

good evening guys, just wondering if anyone knows of a useful website for image plains to use for reference when modelling. humans, sci fi, mechanical all sorts really.

also does anyone know how to set maya to automatically create an object/surface instead of having to click the grid and setting the size of it?

Cheers

DW
