I really like your design for this model Chirone. It reminds me of one of those types of creepy crawlies that would be skittering the hall of a doom or dead space type place en masse.

I don't have too much advice to help with the brain. But it seems the folds for the brain are flat. Maybe rounding out the folds then using a wet shader?
