How do i bend a tube?

hey can someone tell me how to bend a tube so that the faces point down like the ones that i highlight in the picture? I am modeling in polys, and i can't remember how to extrude it. thank you all!

Use the Wedge Tool. Look it up and you'll see what I mean. user added image

Or, you could use a Bend deformer.

where is the bend deformer..... where are any of the deformers in maya? sorry if i sound silly. thanks!

These kind of tools is found in the "animation" mode. You are probably in "modeling"mode. Look at the top left corner in maya.

Deleting history, makes you keep any defromation.

you could make a nurbs circle, make a nurbs curve for the contour of the pipe, and extrude, then convert to polys.

Ahh i know how to make em user added image

Check out my WIP of my pipe interface, I did the rounder corners in that by making a nurbs circle and then revolved it 90 degrees.

You just have to change the pivot point to the edge of the circle, pick the axis then put in the degrees.
