Default Rotating (ALT, right click) an object?

Hi,

I'm working on my first model and I accidentally hit a key or a button that causes my object to rotate in a different fashion when ALT RIGHT CLICKING. Before the object would rotate as if the pivot was inside it, now it's somewhere far away from the object. When I ALT RIGHT CLICK and move, the object rockets of the screen. Can someone explain to me what I did wrong?

Thanks a million,
Dan

Nevermind, I selected "Default Home" and it resumed to its normal position.
