question regarding how to add geo

Hey guys, been a while in between posts.

I'm building a wall of a building that has a crack running diagonally through it and I'm curious as to the best way to go about adding edge loops to this piece of geo to give it a bit more structure - one that would be acceptable in the industry.

I've had a shot (bottom right of the images) but it ends up with those nasty 5 edges (poles) and I don't like it. But then I don't like it much with nothing either (top left), as the general rule seems to be keep everything as close to squares as possible.
