Mate, you got ripped off. I bought the full PLE book suite straight from Alias' website, which includes [from memory] about 7 books each of about 7-800 page also DVD disks for approx £120, that includes the foundation one you have just purchased. Like yourself I'm from England so if I were you I'd send that book back.

I'll try and dig out the site for you!

Yeah thanks for the info...

I got mine from Waterstones book shop..

Guess it's just that price because waterstones is pricey anyways - add to that the fact that if you order from alias themselves via a credit card you're bound to get a decent price..

Oh well you live and learn I guess.

Cheers for the info anyways... Will make a note of it for future ref..

why not go back to waterstones and return the book? If you prefer the other deal that is... (it's double the price that you paid though...) if it helps maybe all you need is one book, I've never bought a maya book... i just learnt as I went along (i have read small parts of books when at uni but it's been almost completley learning by doing.)
