i hope some one comments soon, it's not nice when you put alot of work into some thing and no one comments, good or bad i don't care.
i guess i should say why it's been so long since my last update, i have been working hard learning from tutorials from all over the place, every thing from rigging to rendering even some photoshop tutorials, so here you go i put them together in a scene to compare them cause i don't have a style yet i don't want them to look to different to each other

kinda cartoony, since to main character is a scare crow, but not to cartoon like. i guess it's realistic but with a hint of cartoon. is that ok?

Just plan, plan, plan everything before you start, set up a workflow and stick to it and above all be patient.

Hey I should listen to my own advice! LOL

Good luck.

Nice work on the modeling man.

Since you took your time to build the whole roof structure I suggest you show it.
It's a nice piece of architecture, use it! Make the top barn door stand open or something, or make it miss a piece of roof?
The lighting/shading/rendering I guess has to be seen composited with a little grass or dirt "floor". Floating like that, it doen't say a lot in my opinion.

Keep it up, and keep us posted!

like your models a lot, -there's a lovely animation from the supinfocom aout there depicting a (maybe) similar scenario.

https://www.the-mill.com/index.php go here, click on archive and select the thumb labeled "new 3d talent at the mill" take a while to load, but it's worth it.

don't worry about the render i need to make a field for all this to sit on, the house and barn will sit on a small hill and around it is a feild with crops in it, tree's and hedges suround this field like a fence and a few around the house and barn, just to make it look more appealing.
and farbtopf trust me the story aint so evil or scarey its happy and nice, the good guy gets his girl kinda story but with out the heroics.

the new barn textures are definately better than the red - good choice to change it user added image

It just needs some weathering now and you could pop it into a game
