Hi!
The maya part was pretty easy... the letters are simple poly objects with a little bit of light. I first rendered an animation where the letters are moving, but the results are much better if you're using stills and than animate in post.
The things that fly around are 3 different images, animated in post. All images are positioned in depth and the DOF of the camera is animated too... a simple expression with an animated null object does the job.
I also added a simple spot lights to add lightning and color corrected the result.
Pretty simple, but cool result -)
