aircraft modeling in MAYA

I am new to MAYA and to 3D modeling. Anyone has done some work in aircraft modeling? coz i need a start. i know basics but with aircraft design i need help

Theres a tutorial on modeling a Spitfire in the Video training section, that might be a start for ya! (or the Apachie helicopter)

if you are looking for one of the newer aircraft, all of their lines are fairly strait so it shouldn't be hard to figure it out for yourself

just use a similar approach to building a car, with the orthographic views of the aircraft
