rendering problem

Hello all,

I am learning texturing following a tutorial. I have set up a psd network on the main material of the model. (network includes colour, bump and specular maps)

when i render it works fine for the first time but if i dolly the camera or zoom in my model and render the second time, the software just hangs.

I am using a Nvidia GTS 250 graphic card with 1 Gb memory.
The processor is a quad core and i am using win XP.

The rendering works fine no matter how many times i render on a plain model without any texture.

Is any one aware or faced such a problem

Please help

Mahesh

found what the problem was.

the psd file size was increasing with every added layer.

tried converting color and bump seperately to jpeg and then added them to file node.

guess my graphic card is not good enough for large psd files
