1)a)Go to Create>Camera>Camera.
b)Select your camera and go to environment.
c)Change color there.
d)In the viewport, go to Panels>(first option)>camera1.
2)????
3)Select ur curve and go to Edit Curves>Open/Close Curves.

Hope it helps!!

Hey thanks a lot!

I am soo sorry for my second question which I typed in a hurry.

here it goes again:

1.how do I know how much time a particular render took ? also how will I know how long a particular sequence is gonna take to render? ( I am so used to this knowledge in max am I am sure its gonna be in maya too).

Your answers are very valuable to me, thanks again!

:-)
