Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

UV Texture Editor?

I followed a Kurt Tutorial bout the yeti and on vid 5 or 6 it says to split the top and make the bottom view into the uv texture editor..

..well, I use Maya 8 and I can split the top and the bottom but when I go to panels>panel>...there is not uv texture editor to pick.

Does anyone know how I can bring it up in Maya 8?
Thanks for any help.

That I can't say. I have not added anything except the Bonus Tools and that would not have had anything to do with it.

Sorry!!

Yeah nice.. thx. Its under windows.

It opens up a new window but I can live with that. I work with max all the time for my architectural job and thought I'd give maya a go with with organic modeling. I attend www.animationmentor.com and use maya for it so eh, this whole maya is kinda getting to me, in a good way.

Youve been a great help.. I needed a maya friend pretty quick lol

Glad to have helped. No idea why you may not have them. But some may read this and know.

Good luck with your Tutorial.
