This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

How to close a curve?

I'm just starting my Maya today. I'm very new to Maya and any type of animation. I couldn't get the curve I drew to close. I drew the curve in the top view port and using the EP Curve Tool to draw. After I drew the curve I select it and click on Edit NURBS--->Open/Close Surfaces and I kept getting the following error:

//Error: Nothing was selected to close. Seleted surfaces or surface isoparm.

Any help be much appreciated.

Never mind. I got it figured out. It was Edit Curve not NURBS.
