Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Object outline

I am trying to find out what I need to do to turn on the feature in Maya that allows one to view a object in "outline mode", what I mean by that is all the edges of the object are bolded so that you know your model is complete without any extra geometry in it. I notice it in the tutorials, but I do not know what is the name of the feature and how to turn it on.

Thanks.

Hi..I think you're talking about border edges right?...to turn that on you go into the custom polygon display options...select highlight border and change the border width if you please..hope that helped..
