Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Yeah the purple wasn't bad, there was just a bit too much of it IMO... Might replace the red with purple... I'm also planning on adding more detail to the golden pattern in the skirt...

decided to give him a few tribals, almost done with the one on the back, just need to finish the top... Still a bit rough on some of the edges though...

looking good, nice touch with the tribal... by any chance, are you just stalling (wasting time) with mapping out the face?

if you wanted to automatically smooth him out try converting him to subdivision then back to poly, this should smooth him for you (save first) and make sure sub-d to poly setting is set to "Vertices" when you want your original poly version back (or it will add a lot)

Well, a friend of mine called my and suggested Madden and beer over Maya and PS, so no updates tonight... Too bad I have to work tomorrow, otherwise I probably would have gotten some work on this guy done...

Finally got a little more done:

- Finished the tatoo on the back, started one in the neck (still VERY wip though)
- Started tatoo on stomach
- Started new design for the skirt

As always, loads of C&C wanted user added image
