Any ideas how to model this characters head?

I've made a quick sketch of a character, attached, the head shape is very simple, just a sphere that has been squashed and stretched here and there....

The problem lies with the mouth...it's skewed on the side - and that's my problem. What would be the best way to achieve this?

I've made a very quick attempt one evening, attached, by using a nurbs sphere and moving the CVs around...but I know i'm will face problems later on, esp when it comes to making mouthshapes.

Thanks

James

your models are good. but try to model the character in the basic shape i.e. the shape with no expressions.

the model can be given expressions during the animation time using blend shape.

search in google to find any tutorials.

All the best.
