How did you create the texture? was it a procedural texture or UV'd?

the texture is a simple jpg ...

the prob is, I know how to use the uv texture editor for polygon objects but not for nurbs...

now I know 1 way how to solve the prob, but its not the right 1 ... nurbs => convert => polygon ...

but I dont want it that way, cuz I know thers an other user added image

What do you mean with there's another way?
Either you use you convert from nurbs trick or you use a proper uv map for polygons. Of course you could always use automatic mapping but that's not gonna give you a seamless UV map.
