Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Default Green Colour

Hey guys,

Just wondering, how come if i create a scene and then make a new scene, the default color is green?(mostly happends, not all the time) I think it was something new in 8.5 version when it came out, though why?

[EDIT]

Also, in the new scene if i apply a texture to an object, the texture is visible on the object though when i click on it, it turns green ...

Cheers,

That isn't a maya feature, green is the color maya uses when there is no material shader present.

Yeah, I get green if its not got a material, red or black in MR for MR materials, that was a hope in 2008 that it would show the colour of the MR shaders
