Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

fish

well firstly it's not quite finished which is why i've put it in here.

there's quite a lot to be changed so i thought why not bung it in here and get some comments, maybe change this into something a bit fun and learn as i go.

saying that this is how i got there;

the first pic is a low poly starting shape.

and from the side but without the transparent belly or eyes.
the gums are black because like an idiot i used the incorrect uvmap to take this pic and couldn't be bothered to change it. besides it's good for the soul to admit these things.

a nice pic from the short movie showing the transparent belly with the baby fish visible.

sorry about the sporadic nature of these pics, at the mo i'm just trying to get them in some kind of order for you guys so i can get some good constructive comments flowing.

next i'll briefly outline the storyboard, babyfish and what method i used for the animation.

now i am relatively new to this so i apologise if there are some glaring mistakes or ugly bits and would appreciate any comments on how things could have been done better or how to make it look cool.

also how do i upload the video as its too large (1588kb) at the mo?
