Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

How did you add the sand? Did you just use a NURBS plane or something?

subpatch polygons and a lot of point editing. I'm thinking of adding particle effects to enhance the idea.

keep at it mate - this is coming together. i think the red brick texture needs dirting up more and there needs to be more damage to that wall - at the moment I think the top edge is looking far too even.

I'm not sure which part you refer to.

i just meant the top edge of the red bricks looks too even to me and needs to be a bit more broken up like the right side. the textures are definitely working better. user added image

it might be cool to have a few battered road signs and some other bits and pieces.
