Save your file first. You can smooth just the hair and it shouldn't afect the weights to much. As for the other edits, do them and thin test your rig. You might need to edit them weights a little more.

You can save your weights and try to reapply them later. I don't do this much, though. I always try to have the model DONE before rigging.

Yeah, additional texture details would help. Lighting seems a bit dark, too.

thanks for the good advice, i will try to make the texture more varied

oh yea today i learned how to make displacement maps and create layered shaders with complex transparency and diffuse effects hoooraaay!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Althoug i have a sligth problem with this guy i dont know but when he moves, the texture wraps and messes up it seems like the UV mapping is key'ed in a strange messed up way!!!???

if you're using 3D textures, you'll need to create a Texture Reference Object from the Rendering mode Texture menu.

Well it's finished

Guys here it is i finished the animation and rendering, it has errors, the animation sucks, well first time ever i animate a character.

It took me a lot a of effort and well i didnt got the really cool final result i wanted, but it was really fun and i learned a couple new things on the way

oh yea i had to change the straigth jacket texture to a very simple one, it looked all messed up i tried mike's advice, it worked but oddly enough the uv's got messed up, and i didnt had time to fix it user added image

well thanks for the comments and advices guys good luck with your challenges i hope you win something user added image

PS: The video is on DivX format it's heavily compressed due to the fact that i dont have a server on where to store it, and i think the max size attachment here is 1 MB so little details i added will be hard to spot
