Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

you re right about the horizontal wrinkles.
my monitor just broke, so i cant really work much. right now its only showing the bottom half of my screen:angery:

Man this looks amazing. How did you do the shoe laces?
And how do you get your model smooth with so little geometry and so much details? I model with wayyyy too much geometry, but I'm not sure how to overcome that.

Uv'ing this is gonna be a big pain. haha

looks amazing man!only think,maybe you wont agree with me and you will say that im a noob so you dont care about it buti think the boots look a bit like clown shoes.not the hole boot, only the end.( just a bit)user added image

yea. you have a point. the front of the boot are slightly over sized. ill fix that later on.

as for the details, i guess i should say its all about curve flow, or edge flow in this case. thats all.

Neat Stuff. I agree about the end of the shoes though.

As for uvs, I have a particular liking for them as well. Its where the final magic begins, to start bringing models to life
