Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world

Sound Files
I want to test the facial animation with the sound. But.. when I click play the model moves and the sound file does not play. When I scrub the time line I can here the sound file. Which sounds terrible scrubbing back and forth.
Can anyone tell me how I can play the sound file along with the animations?
