This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

ADL

Hello, guys

Since my current computer is getting vastly outdated (It doesn´t even have an AGP) and doesn´t seem to hold very well Maya, nor any other resource intensive aplication, I´ve currently begun a quest to build me myself one. I won´t go OEM no more.
Also, this no inmediate setup (Since I´m broke ATM anyway) but one with a future scope (Maybe 6 months), this could even play advantageous for me, since components would actually lower their prices.

As such, I would kindly request your aid guys, in reviewing this, and probably more setups I might present in this thread in the near future.

One more thing, I just went mayor components hunting, using some well known review sites (such as anandtech.com), however I haven´t gotten in it connection cables, or fans since I don´t have the slighlest clue about them. All the components wil be imported to my country, which is why I can´t afford mistakes ... so If something´s missing please do say so.

Setup (Updated as of May 2th)
  • ASUS Motherboard P4C800 Deluxe
  • ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB
  • Intel Pentium 4 3.06GHZ
  • Corsair 512MB DDR RAM x 2
  • Maxtor 80 GB 7200 RPM
Current price as of now is about 1280$

Remember still need a case, fans, power unit, etc. So please tell me what else do I need to make this a working setup.
I´m endeavouring for a mid-to-top-of-the-line desktop station.

Oh by the way, going for Pentium.

Thanks guys

LOL rage. Please do not associate such stuff.
Kevin precised of some shagging songs -you know for his own perverted fantasies- and I gave him some titles.

What he does with them, is his bussiness, but please .. for the love of god, DO NOT ASSOCIATE HIM WITH ME. user added image
