I don't know, I had my "stayin alive" "sat. nite fever" reservations about him too when "Face Off" came out, then I saw it, and It wasn't so bad.

He plays a great a$$hole villan!

I thought he was even a good villan in Swordfish and Broken Arrow.

Tho, now that I think about it, everytime I see him in any movie, I keep thinking that at any moment, he will just break character, look at the camera, and break into a rendition of "Grease Lightnin!!" hehe...

I am hoping it will be a good action movie with the hardcore vigilante justice from the original comics. But seeing the trailer and shots they have used so far, it doesn't look like its headed quite the same way. Thomas Jane and John Travolta do not seem like Punisher characters (from what the trailers shows so far..) and the environment is Miami??! They already changed the story..his family was in a NYC park when the mafia came by and had a shootout. This new version seems too corny and WAY too bright and sunny.

Looks like a "wait-for-the-video" movie to me.

Yup, I saw that when I was stationed in Korea, its not a good movie at all. At the very least Dolph played a violent Punisher, this new version...I don't know, it just screams PG-13 or something. Looks like a made for TV movie. Ah well, I kept out hope for Daredevil. Bad as that was it had some (if few) redeemable qualities.
