Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Best Mouse

I just began working with Maya.
I bought a cheapo Belkin 3 button mouse.
Zooming (alt-Rclick) is very slow and unwieldy.
Is it my mouse?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

All the settings to change the Mouse settings on your PC for Windows 2000/XP and Vista can be found in the Control Panel under mouse.

If this doesn't work. Then try another mouse in the PS2/USB socket and if your wireless, put in new batteries. Again if this doesn't work, buy a Microsoft or a Logitech Mouse.

I am using a MS Wireless Laser 5000, and its very good. Just changed the batteries after 3 months of use. And I use my PC about 16 hours a day 7 days a week.

If you want the ultimate mouse, get something from Razer, they excel at making them.
