Mech made with the tutorial

this the mech i made with te tutorial guide from this website
note this is the first time i worked with maya
i think it came out pretty good...
the render is made in 3d max using vray... don't look at the colors because they are a bit wrong user added image

the colors look fine.
now if you can add a few ewoks it'll look cool. lol

The work looks great, though i wonder how he can balance when he got so much weigth in front user added image

Well if you animate him that shouldn't be a problem i guess user added image

looks very good ..... congrats on your first model in maya .... hopefully you learned alot and I dont think it is bad at all ... .i like them but that is me

thnx i have learned allot
now i'm making the apache model of k. brown that is very much fun. also spending some time making the ferrari model and also the yamaha model so i'm quit busy with 3 different models :bandit:

is there also a way to export the whole model in maya to 3d max including all the smooths and materials... now i exportered as .obj but that doesn't include the smooths and materials... is there a way to export it to a .3ds
