He kinda looks like he's suffering from an allergic reaction to medication? A bit on the "puffy" side; but maybe you're gonna fix that in the detailing?
Perhaps he just ate a peanut that didn't agree with him?

Also, I keep expecting to see that occipital bump at the base of the skull, just a touch at least.
And I also have to agree with the lip comment that Joopson made.

Other than that, pretty superiffic.

this is after detail pass.

only about 1.7 mil polys. [i've hit as much as 4 mil sometimes, but i was able to get enough details on him only at this level. ]

some areas look odd, and i dont like; like the eye bags, but its that way by design.
other awckward characteristics, but its going to look good when textured and rendered i think.
just the right tone...

Looks good so far. I'd work on the nostril area a bit though. I think the nostrils should point more towards the sides rather than straight down.

yea. some things i will tweak before i start texturing. and make it less symetrical and pose him a bit.

ill flare out the nostrils more.

edit: added some bumps and pimples and spots. flared nostril a bit

Better. Maybe round the edges of the nostrils a bit? They still look a bit like they were "drilled in".

nice, you make your own alpha for skin pores and wrinkles?
