Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Select the second Curve and hit G for repeating the last action!

Then you should have two fiting planes in the shape of your Guitar!

Then open the outliner (Window- Outliner) and select the two curves and loft them! Do the same modification like the planar.

Last but not least delete the two Curves if you want and it is done.
Easy or not???

Thanks for the help, but this doesn't solve anything. seriously. i did everything you said and it just keeps the lines in stead of filling is up...

I've redone drawing my curbs 2 times and deleted history over and over but the damn thing just won't fill.

maybe i can upload my maya bin file for anyone to see what's wrong.

i guess ur right there. *slaps himself in the face*
But i did actually look in the tutorials. for now just the free ones because it's not so common here in the netherlands to have visa, so it's difficult for me to buy those not-free tutorials

Ok! Then it should be easy!

Now I give you a little TUT....

Make a Nurbs Circle.
Go to the Duplicate Option box and reset it!
Then Duplicate the Circle and translate (Y) him a little bit up.
Then select both Circles and go to the loft Option Box and reset!
Then loft the cirles.
Now it should look like a cylinder without caps!
Select the First Circle ( Its easy with the outliner)
Go to the planar Option Box and Reset it!
Planar the first Circle.
Select the second Circle and hit G
Go to the Outliner and cancel the Circles, because you don´t need them more.

This is the way how you solve your Problem!
The polygon way is also good, because you can play more with the geomitry!

I think that the Curve direction or an option was false.
For the future: Reset the tool options, because when you don´t know that they are switched, you have always problems!

Try it! Bevor you Duplicate the first Circle change the rotate option Y ( The middle one ) to 180 degree and loft after that!
It looks like a picture from you...
