They only reason i went of the squid was i really don't know how to create a shader that gives the same look as a real squid. I'll just model both for a bit and see what model developes better.

I like your crocodile type thing. I think u could use both the crocky and the squid in a scene.

Very NICE!. like your model alot.
A suggestion, the snot has some small bumps on the top of it. If you made them look like small rounded horns/bones it may make the model a bit more interesting.

Thanks. The snout needs a fair amount of work on it anyway. I'll see if it needs them after he has a mouth full of teeth.

i like the glow effect...maybe you should make the "arms" more sharp! and for the mouth....possibly some agressive teeth or so?
