Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Big Selections

Hello !
Firstly, i'm French, so sorry for my English :p
Then, my question is:
In the free tutorial about the cartoon dog, when the teacher selects a CV, all the CVs around are also selected. It seems really useful, does he use a hotkey or a special settings ?
Thanks for your help !

Shift+ or Shift- doesn't work... (maybe because it is Maya Linux...)

//In French

Hum... Sorry user added image
But it doesn't work either....
It's quite strange, I think it's because of Linux...

Salut Kooma,
Hi Kooma,

On va l'faire à la sauce CGsociety, multilingue, hehehe
Lets do it multilingual, as on some cgsociety's threads .... huhu

Though I didn't follow this tuto, I think what' you're talking 'bout is called CV Shell. E.g. you select a CV in the texture editor, then calling "Select shell" command and you got what I think you're looking at, the complete shell, selected.

By default, I think Maya doesn't have this shortcut already set. It should be done by hand through the Shortcuts Editor.
Just look for a "Select Shell" or "Select all shell" , sry I don't have Maya opened here.

Hoping you'll get the solution wanted.

Regards, Py.
