Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

I am new but here is a first model

It isnt much but its a start. I barely discovered this place and I hope to get better at maya so I can post better images.

Its very... yellow. I recognise the temple thing from the Maya tutorials but how did you do the light thing?

hair and glow

I put hair on the sphere and then added blinn and increased the glow then I smoothed it out.

Not sure the significance on the big yellow blob, just looks thrown into the picture. Were you going for a sun like effect?
