Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Imagination is more important than knowledge.

The SM tutorials are nice, cause you see the actual process from start till end, but personally I have found the Digital tutors DVDs to be quite informative, for the beginner..

SM's DVD's are quite cheap, Digital tutors are midranged in price

Gnomon DVDs is more for the intermidiate - advanced (and also cost a bit more)

SM tuts are good. If you want to develop all your skills then go to 3dbuzz.com and get there Maya Fundamentals course. I have done it and it is great.

If you are looking to get better at modeling then start here at SM.
