texture with glow

Hi,

I've mapped a poly plane with a texture file of some text on a black background. when I render it looks like what I'm looking for. The only thing is I would like to have the text (which is a light blue) to glow. Can this be done? I've make a grayscale copy of the text texture file and tried setting that to the input of the glow intensity but the copy won't glow.

Any input is appreciated!

Try attaching it to incandescence. I think that might do the trick for you.
