Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

need to import image stack

Dear Maya users,

Is there any way to import a stack of images, for instance laying them one by one on consecutives planes, and then apply some transparency to the whole so that a 3D figure emerges out of the planes?

thanks.

I don't know about an automatic function for this, but I'm pretty sure you'd just have to do it manually, placing your planes, mapping them with the color files and transparancy files involved and such.
