Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

painting surfaces

Hi all,

I have a human model whose shirt I want to have a number on (like a football jersey or something) What is the easiest way to do this and how? I have toyed with creating text (such as bevel) in maya and trying to mould it to the model but as soon as i start moving vertices etc it starts losing its shape and looking crap. Is there a tool to paint it on?

Thanks
Dave
