ok, so you getting dual chips right? What heat sink and fan you using? I would suggest not using the stock heatsinks. If you want the best HS / fan combo, let me know.

I'm not using the standard fans and heatsinks i'm using all thermaltake fans and heatsinks and i'm not having the fan on the heatsink i'm having it ducted to give even coverage on the heatsink. I don't think it'll over heat the case has countless fans. The final build will have 14 fans and heatsinks on all the RAM as well as CPUs.

a little late but, for others that are willing to spend a little fortune on cases + fans +dissipators, i know that on a local store theyve got some freezer cases, like the ones they use on some research institutions... They claim you can have a P2.8 overclocked to 3.8 with those things (in fact theyll prepare one of those for you if you are willing to spend 500€ on the case... (but then you save on all those dissipators and fans) I hadnt seen em on internet but maybe you would be interested on asking for them on your local dealer...

Just a side note. Dont worry about liquid cooling. You wont need it for what your doing. Cky, check your PMs.

I did look at liquid cooling but it seemed abit over the top although it would let me overclock the CPUs a bit.

just to be sure... im not talking about liquid cooling... im talking about a big insulated tower case with a thermal exchange unit like the one on your freezer on the superior quarter that will put the interior of the case subzero...

(cky do you want to tell me how much did you spent on heatsinks+fans+case?, to compare solutions prices?)

the case was £105 (has 7 fans) and heatsinks and extra fans come to £78

so it was kinda 300/350€... id like to test if their claims about overcloking are true... imagine two 3.8ghz processors at the price of two 2.8...

now i searched again it did showed a case that has a similar system but liquidcooled to -30ºC system...
theres a link for a test on toms hardware:
https://www4.tomshardware.com/howto/20030224/

the one i saw was more kinda this, it refigerated all the case:
https://www.asetek.com/nyhederPro/vis...9&DatabaseID=2
https://www.asetek.com/default.asp?sh...n=2&menuID=309
but on big tower insted of server size

the shop where i saw it is called batchpc (www.batch-pc.com) im afraid they only have the site in spanish... so summarizing...
the link for the liquidcooled case they sell on internet (i didnt saw the full box cooled) with a system called vapochill is
https://over.batch-pc.com/productos/cajas.asp
the "Caja Semitorre Vapochill SE S478" it a lil expensiver and also it doesnt comes with "power source?" also theres other one, bigger badder and cooler called "Caja Vapochill Xtreme Edition"
A link on a test in spanish
https://www.flytech.es/Vapochill-Refr.../vapochill.htm

(i should be sleeping to study tomorrow so i wont surf more, letme know if you find the tower sized full case refrigerated one, anyways next week i have to go near them so ill ask which one was the exact model he showed me)
