Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

There isno DPI settings in Maya what you need to do is render out larger image. You have to multiple whatever size you want in inches by 300. eg 6x4 picture you will have to render 1800 x 1200 res image in Maya.

raraz, when you go to print just have it put it all on the one page and it will become 300dpi. Just be sure to render a big enufe res.

Hello!

I try to model a head, and I have problem using the extrude face tool.
I would like to extrude two faces at the same time (I shift selected them and they are neighbourghs), but when I extrude them, they act like two different face not like one. I mean I know that they are seperated, but I would like to modify them at the same time.
So when I extrude them, I would like them to behave like they were one face. (I have Maya 5.0)
/I am Hungarian so if there are problems with my English... sorry user added image /
