Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Where would I find these files?

I have two installs of Maya, one on my new C drive and one on my older (used to be C drive but is now...) E drive.

The older version has all my preference set up, while the new copy has nothing.

Are there any files that I could copy from the old disk (E:\) to the new disk (C:\) that would make the newer copy of Maya work the same as the old - preference files etc.

Cheers
Azi

I believe all preferences are stored in "...\My Documents\maya\6.5\prefs". The majority of preferences are stored in userPrefs.mel, but the other files (pluginPrefs.mel, userHotkeys.mel, userNamedCommands.mel, userRunTimeCommands.mel, and windowPrefs.mel) are fairly self explanatory. Hope this helps.
