First Model (TRAIN)

Ok i have taken a long rest from trying to learn maya and the other day watching shrek the third i wanted to try and learn again, so im going to post my WIP of modeling a train so hopefully you guys can help me user added image so is there any tips i should know about before starting?

ok i just wanted to ask ive done the basic shape i know i didnt do much but i was wondering how would i make the nose of the train rounded and also the top of the train more curved is there an easy way to do this or do you have to extrude or edit the vertices for each bit?

i have watched them a while ago but it was about modelling frank and i want to model a train lol and i cant remember if it showes how to do this. so i was asking is there an easier way

sorry lol i tried to change the name title never saved im modeling a train user added image and need to know how to round faces so that they aint flat but an easier way than editing all the vertices/faces

Find me in skype "shc_cold" and i can send ya a tutorial of basic head modeling which will help ya a lot but I hope the sending speed will be good user added image user added image
