This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
Took me a bit to figure out how to put different materials and textures on different objects. This is a Zbrush render (1 light) not finished yet, still need to add tearducts and a possible hat/bandana and earing are in the works

i think that's a tear duct.
great job jay - that last render looks mad - especially the eyes.
so you can actually paint on to the model in zbrush? I need to get a copy, but I'm wondering, if i want to put it on to 2 computers so my wife can use it as well, do I need to buy 2 copies like maya?
Yes arran, they added poly painting. It's intensely awesome - but yes they still have that wonky license you suggested
One thing I meant to mention earlier is that I think the model is lacking a bit of low frequency deformation in a few places, mainly around the eyebrow. But that's just my preference. I also think you could play on the colors just a little more around the eye and maybe on the lips. Once you put on the hat/bandana this will be money! I really like his left ear and the eyes especially.
