This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

i never did that before. Its like bump mapping isn't it ? put a texture & some depth on it right?

The nvidia normal map plugin is for Photoshop has nothing to do with your grathics card (and its free), it add work from photoshop to a normal make made in maya, I have used it to create a machine gun grip. Joey81 I think there is a free tutorial on this site for baking normal maps............dave
