Virtual City Challenge Winners!

Congrats and thank you to all who participated in the challenge! My apologies for the lack of any real tangible prize, but I hope the bragging rights and potential portfolio pieces will be enough this time.

Without further ado...

Winners!

Congrats! Great details and love the addition of the elevated train and signage! Details like the street puddle and birds in the background are great as well. I will say that the texture density could be improved for future such scenes, but that's a bit nitpicky. Great job!

Great scene! Love the addition of the bike, fountain, and antennae on top of the buildings. Work on your texturing and lighting. Great job!

Very nice scene! I like the house design and the lighting fits well with the environment. Work on your texturing and detail work in the future. Congrats!

Also wanted to thank and give an Honorable Mention to Whyte for entering the 4th entry. I wish there were more than 3 trophies to hand out, but you did a nice job and I'm hoping to see more entries from you in our current and future challenges!

Congrats again everyone! The new Challenge has already begun at the challenge forum! It's not too late to join in!

Well done Tweetytunes and Sokol!
Thanks Mike, 3rd's good for my first comp so I'm very happy!
I'll try harder on the texturing and detailing for the next one.
I had a lot of fun doing this challenge and learned a lot.

I honestly thought I was not going to win this one - maybe top 3. I`m chuffed. Saying that I`m going for gold with the next one as well with a lot more time spent on the textures. Watch out.

Well done to the others as well.

And sokol - I`m so glad you changed those trees - man they look a lot better like that.

And hay Dango77 - well done first try and you got yourself an award.

well done everyone. user added image

as a side note - It would be good to have a public vote for the winners in future comps, anyone agree with me? It seems strange to have one person judge the entries.

Thanks again to everyone, I really wasn't expecting an award on my first project, it's given me a bit more confidence in my work.
And Chirone, you're right, I love a challenge and it looks like I've got quite a big one on my hands with this next challenge!
